The Role

Are you hardworking, reliable, and looking for an opportunity to become part of a new and dynamic team? We are seeking a reliable Safety Coordinator to join our busy office and workshop in Pasadena, Texas. This entry level role opportunity for the right candidate to begin their career in safety.

Principle Duties:

· Implement the Company’s established safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with local laws and regulations

· Handle all administrative tasks with regards to company safety policy and reporting

· Ensure the highest safety compliance standards and a healthy work setting for staff, visitors and vendors.

· Monitoring and staying up to date on safety regulations, codes and standards applicable to the industry.

· Support management in investigating accidents, incidents and near-miss events to determine root causes and implementing corrective measures to prevent a recurrence.

· Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with external organisations, such as government bodies, safety organisations and insurance companies.

Core Skills/Attributes:

· Bachelor’s degree or training in safety, occupational health and safety, or a related field

· Minimum 6 months experience in an onsite-safety compliance role preferred

· Familiar with compliance with OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations

· Excellent written and verbal interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
